Our Guy Has Some Teeth (Oct. 2, 2007)

Well, two teeth appeared in the mouth of our oldest son - and only one for that matter. It happened Saturday a week and a half ago. We know because he went in for his six month checkup the day before and the doctor commented that he had no teeth yet. Then the next day, BAM, one appeared. He grabbed his mommy’s finger and stuck it in his mouth to show her what he had discovered. He was very proud. Then, the day after that while we were showing Erin, our pastor’s wife his first tooth, BAM we noticed the second one popping through. He has been quite the little trooper and hasn’t fussed much over it - at least no more than usual. Also, this past week the words, Da Da Da Da came through his little lips. Now, I know the books say that it doesn’t mean much yet, but heck, what do those books know. My son is calling my name. Today Kristen dressed him up to go out on a walk in what is now my favorite outfit of his. I thought that I would send you all a few photos of it to share the moment. Aunt Barb, thanks so much for the outfit. Kristen took the photos especially for you.
